Cody likes to exist in the grey area, where perspectives are considered nuanced and complex. His documentary style is guided by the desire for context, heart, and intimacy. A few of his recent projects include embedding with missing person investigators for 5 months, exploring new ways to fight antibiotic resistant bacteria, and celebrating how immigrants retain cultural values.

He has lensed documentaries for Netflix, BBC, Paramount, VICE, PBS, & Vox, and has screened his work at film festivals across the US and UK. His branded projects have earned recognition by Adweek, Digiday, Gerety and Cannes Lions.

Cody’s background in post production informs how he shoots--with an awareness of how each decision contributes to the larger picture.

Lastly, he is an FAA Certified commercial drone pilot.

Owen Kibby is a NYC based director and cinematographer. His documentary roots are ever present in his narrative and aesthetic sensibility. Every choice informed by a background in making the most out of little.

He's a camera nerd, a true film lover, and happiest when on the road. At the heart of all of his work lies a passion to find an honest conversation about what it means to feel human. A core belief that what makes us truly connect to any piece of work is the recognition of ourselves.

Filmmaking has taken him across the country, around the globe, and introduced him to some of the best people he knows.
